Narrated by actor Edward Norton, Saving Africa’s Giants follows former NBA star and wildlife advocate Yao Ming travels to Africa to help spread awareness about the cruelty of poaching. Yao sees for himself the evidence of a losing battle, where Africa's giants are senselessly slain every day for their tusks.

I worked as a camera operator for this film.

“No Net Left Behind,” dives deep into the environmental crisis of abandoned, lost, or discarded fishing gear (ALDFG) and its toll on marine life. The series, produced in collaboration with Condé Nast Traveler and Youku, shines a spotlight on a lesser-known polluter of the ocean: “ghost nets” — abandoned fishing nets that float undetected and entrap marine animals in their path.

2025 marks 20 years of WildAid’s work in China, reflecting two decades of collaboration with government agencies, community leaders, corporate partners, and cultural icons who have helped shift public attitudes toward wildlife, oceans, and climate action. What began in 2005 with a single staff member working out of a hotel room has grown into a dedicated team based in Beijing.

WildAid celebrated this milestone with a special anniversary event in Beijing on December 16th. Joined by WildAid ambassadors including Yao Ming, Huang Xuan, and Wu Lei, and over 200 guests.
